Boondi is a delicious snack that doesn’t need any introduction! While some are satisfied eating it as is, some prefer to spice it up with Chaat masala. It’s also an essential ingredient for making raitas such as Boondi Raita and Boondi and Pomegranate Raita and Pani Puri .
The making of Boondi in your home can be simple but it takes some practicing initially. But, it’s an art to master since homemade Boondi is absolutely delicious.

There are certain aspects you must be aware of when making Boondi. The batter must be of the right consistency, so you should add water slowly.

Following each usage, be sure you wash and dry your Boondhi Jhara dry prior to making for the following batch. Take the Boondi off the oil once it’s fresh but yellowish–don’t let it sit until it turns brown.

Once cooked, let it cool completely and then store within an airtight container. You can use as a food or to use in other recipes.

Boondi are cute tiny water droplets which are deep fried Indian snack. They’re golden-colored and are made using the gram flour used as an base component. Raita Boondi can be described as a traditional dip or salad made with yoghurt recipe made from deep-fried Boondi pearls. It is usually served as a refreshing dip, along with roti rice-based dishes such as Pulav and Biryani. For making delicious Raita bundi, first make a bowl and then add chilled curd into it. Add salt, cumin powder roasted chilli powder, Chaat masala and finely chopped coriander. Whisk slowly until you get an even texture. Finish it off by adding our gold Bundi pearls before serving!
